Guadalupe Valley Dragway ran quarter mile on the edge of Victoria — NHRA sanctioned, packed grandstands, Saturday nights that smelled like rubber and exhaust from the moment you pulled off the highway. Any street car could enter. Some locals became legends. Most just came to watch.
This shirt came out of a garage off US-77. Folded in a box with an old race program and a set of spark plugs nobody's touched since Nixon was president.
